About the Business
As a mutual business we are owned by our Members, no shareholders or dividends to pay, so we make every decision by putting our Members interest first. A copy of the rules of the Society can be obtained by emailing us on enquiries@theloughborough.co.uk or call or visit one of our branches. Read 'our philosophy'; look at our financial performance and our community section to understand how strong the Society is and that we are engaged in our local communities across the East Midlands.
The Society remains proud of its origins, starting in 1867 by local businessmen. Over 140 years the Society has changed a lot. However, generations of staff and managers have put Members and customers first which is why we are still here today. One difference you will notice from larger financial service businesses is that we encourage Members feedback and we actively seek their views.
